• Developed and maintained an AWS Static S3 site backed by CloudFront, API Gateway and Lambda functions (serverless) to interact with AWS resources, generate reports and save on cost - starting/stopping EC2 instances, running reports on resources missing tags, running Cassandra CQL queries against Cassandra cluster from web interface. Used S3, CloudFront, ACM, Cognito, API Gateway, Lambda with Oauth Single Sign On.
• Deployed AWS automatic alert notifications for team when various resources were created without specific configurations, causing non-compliance (resource without encryption, missing tags or security groups too open)
• Lead role in AWS Account security violations remediation - heavily assisted in reducing AWS Best Practices violations from thousands to single digits over multiple accounts, working closely with DBAs to solve remediations which mostly consisted of unencrypted volumes and unencrypted Snapshots
• Architecting CI/CD pipelines from GitLab to AWS Resources to automatically upload S3 files on commit, and to run Root calls on AWS instances through calling AWS Systems Manager. Maintained GitLab account to manage code for Lambda functions and reporting scripts
